HOW TWITTER BANTER CHANGED MOMMY ZEE’s LIFE FOREVER

Mommy Zee alias Debbie, the woman of the moment

If you are never here, you would never believe how Twitter banter was able to change the life of Deborah Loveth known as Mommy Zee (@_Debbie_OA on Twitter).

Every single Nigerian on the app is asking the kind of prayers Mommy Zee prayed at the cross over service, cos her miracle seems to be greater than even the ‘Aguero’ moment.

So, if you are familiar with Twitter, you’d know there are quite different sections on the app, from Football Twitter to Internet Money Twitter, to Politics Twitter to Feminist Coven to Mascullinity, to etc.

A few days back, Debbie alias Mommy Zee was being dragged on Twitter when she mentioned that she woke up as early as 4:50 am to prepare lunch for her husband, just to avoid him being snatched with food.

The dragging got really bad to the point, another lady said, “God will never allow her to wake up by that time to cook for her husband that the God that did it for Mummy Zee should avoid her.”

Debbie saw the post and replied, “Of course he would, he doesn’t give his children’s food to dog.”

Well, Debbie’s past was being dug out by the ‘draggers’ and an old tweet of hers was brought out where she said she needed N85,000 to get a fridge. That was how twitter men started donations to her.

While thinking it would stop there, Debbie took a picture of the things she was able to get with the money sent to her account, and posted online. Maybe for the accountability, but for that single act, more donations started trickling into her account.

Even when some Twitter folks attempted to start little fires between she and her husband, she never lost her head, she was quick to put out any fires.

She was shocked when the amount exceeded 2 million naira on her account and even took down her account details, but stubborn Twitter people had already copied the account and copied for those who would want to continue donations.

Then brands started jumping on it. Kuda bank whom she had the account housing over 2 million for her decided to double the amount in the account.

Infinix would donate new phones to her in hearing she’s having issues with her Infinix phone. She would even pitch that the new phones were for both she and her husband.

A few public organizations like NITDA and NNPC joined in as well. Donations of land, health insurance for a year, vacations, remote gigs, and even a platform for she and her husband to leave the country.

As the rave continued, a few other persons went on to see if they could dig out dirt from her old tweets, but all they kept finding were tweets of a loving wife to her darling husband.

The fact that the more they searched for dirt, the more they saw testimonies of a wonderful couple. The dirt search didn’t stop there. They would even go to check her husband too for dirt. What did they find?

Some Nigerians even complained that the Internally Displaced Persons of Plateau State donation account has not seen the amazing support that Debbie and her husband have received in the past few hours.

If there’s anything PAUL KAY’s BLOG has to say to you, it is that you should be happy for others when they are happy and of course happiness would come to you. The universe knows this!
